Who may use Campaign Kicker, who may not
Last updated 27 September 2026
Campaign Kicker sends emails to people who want them. That is the whole product. This page says what is allowed in plain words, so nobody has to guess — and so we can act quickly when someone ignores it.
Who this is for
- You have a list of people who asked for your emails — customers, readers, shop visitors, people who filled in your form.
- You run a shop, a studio, a practice, a club, a newsletter, a small agency, or you sell your own work.
- You email people who know who you are, and every email says who is sending it and how to stop it.
- You can point at where each address came from if someone asks.
Who this is not for
- Bought lists. A file of emails you paid someone for. Those people never agreed to hear from you, and the mail always lands badly.
- Scraped addresses. Pulled from LinkedIn, Google reviews, directories, Instagram, conference badges or any website.
- Cold outreach at volume. Emailing strangers who have never heard of you, however good the copy is.
- Trick mail. Subject lines that lie, a sender name that hides who you are, a missing postal address, or an unsubscribe that does not work.
- Things that are illegal, or aimed at hurting people — investment promises, get-rich-quick schemes, fake reviews, misleading health claims, adult content sold to people who did not ask for it.
- Mailing on someone else’s list without that list owner’s clear permission.
- Sending until your list burns out. If your bounces or complaints climb, the fault is the list, not the tool.
What the app does about it
These are not just words on a page — the product enforces them:
- Importing a list asks you to state that these people agreed to your emails. Nothing imports until you do.
- Every address that arrives from a file gets one “still want these emails?” message first. It cannot be mailed until it clicks yes.
- Sign-up forms confirm by email by default, so a fake or mistyped address never joins a list.
- The proof is kept, not assumed: each declaration is filed with its time and the address it came from, and each confirmation with the time and IP of the click. The whole record downloads from the Contacts screen, so a sender can answer a complaint with evidence instead of a promise.
- Everyone who bounces, complains or unsubscribes goes on a permanent suppression list for that account — a re-import cannot bring them back.
- Sending is throttled per day and per plan, so a bad list cannot do unlimited damage on day one.
If you break these rules
We pause the account and ask what happened. A person decides, not a bot. Serious or repeated cases end the account, and a refund follows the refund policy for the time you paid for and did not get to use. We also pass abuse reports to our mail provider, because they see complaints before we do.
If someone is emailing you
Forward it to abuse@campaignkicker.com with the email attached, or to hello@campaignkicker.com if that is easier. We read every one, and we act on proof.
Not sure you belong here
Email us before you buy. If Campaign Kicker is the wrong tool for what you are trying to do, we will tell you so and point you somewhere better — that is a better outcome for both of us than a refund in three weeks.
